We are not a party and we are not a machine. We are three people who kept showing up to the same meetings, asking the same questions, and getting the same non-answers — so we decided to run together.

Anna Warrington

Anna Warrington has called North Plains home for eighteen years. She spent twenty-one years at Nike, most recently in project management, before retiring and turning that experience toward the city she lives in.

She was appointed to the City Council in March 2026 and has spent her time on the dais asking the questions residents keep asking: where is the money going, and who signed off on it? She is running to finish the work — a budget the city can defend line by line, and a growth plan the community actually had a say in.

Melody Axe

Melody Axe has built a career around people and families. She works as a Direct Support Specialist for people living with persistent mental illness, and before that served as Programs Manager for the National Alliance on Mental Illness in Washington County, a Family Advocate with Community Action, and a Human Services Specialist with the Oregon Department of Human Services. She studied human development and early childhood education at Oregon State University and Portland Community College.

That work has already put her at county tables where decisions get made — the Partnership for Student Success Leadership Council, the Children's System of Care Advisory Committee, and the Mental Health Quality Assurance Committee. She is running because the habits the job demands are the ones the Council needs: listen first, ask questions before deciding, seek understanding before acting. She believes growth should help North Plains thrive without costing it the surrounding farmland, the local businesses, or the sense of community that make people want to live here — and she has pledged to work for residents, not for outside land speculators and developers.

Don Weber

Councilor, Incumbent

Don Weber

Don Weber was appointed to the North Plains City Council in December 2025, during one of the most turbulent stretches in the city's recent history — a period that has since seen a mayor resign and three interim city managers come and go in a matter of months.

He is running for a full term on a simple premise: a city this size cannot afford chaos. Stable management, honest books, and decisions made in public are not partisan positions — they are the baseline.
